BEDFORD TRUCK STAGE (aka Teatro Peppino)

Vintage flair, exquisite detail, professional production values;

Teatro Peppino is a stage on the tray of a Classic 1963 Bedford truck. A nostalgic pop-up carnival, inviting audiences into another world. Teatro Peppino has been designed by performers, with artistry and love.

Christy Flaws and Luke O’Connor, two of the artists behind award-winning theatre companies Asking for Trouble and Porcelain Punch are collaborating with Gippsland based sculptor Gavin Roberts to bring this little stage to life.

We have toured performances around Australia, New Zealand and the UK and know first-hand what a traveling theatre requires: lights, sound, quality staging and a gorgeous antique aesthetic!

Teatro Peppino is tiny and mobile which means we can be tucked in an alleyway or set up in a park.  We can arrive on the day of your event and be fully operational in under 2 hours.

Teatro Peppino is available as a venue for hire, for festivals and parties. We are strongly connected to the Melbourne performing arts community and would love to curate a variety show for you featuring circus acts, vaudeville, dance, live music and art installation – something enchanting and spectacular!
We’d love to hear from you.
